Vaccines
for rabies, distemper and kennel cough (bordatella) are mandatory. Proof of vaccination is required.
A certificate of vaccination or a copy of an invoice showing the vaccine due dates is
acceptable as proof.
Flea Prevention
is required. We recommend a once a month flea treatment such as Front LineŽ
Reservations
are encouraged at all times but are critical during the summer vacation months and at holiday times. When you call, if the kennel is full, ask to be put on a waiting list.
Cancellations
There is currently no cancellation fee, but it is expected that you will cancel your reservation as early as possible to allow for rescheduling. "Now shows" may result in a denial of reservation privileges.
Hours
are by appointment only. Appointments are generally made between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm or between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.
Leashes
are required for your pet at all times during drop off and pick up. All dogs should be leash trained prior to being boarded at North Star Kennels.
